We build software for businesses that would rather not think about software.

You know your customers and your market. We handle everything underneath: the website, the app, the payments and the code that keeps them running. And we explain it all in plain language.

Who we are

Hackeroot is a development studio in Jaipur, India, led by Monty Sharma, a full-stack and blockchain engineer who has been shipping software since 2019.

Our work spans websites for heritage hotels in Rajasthan, an AI meeting app on both app stores, a Telegram trading platform used by more than 1,000 people, and smart contracts that hold real money. Different industries, same job: turn a business goal into software that works, and keep it working.

Why “Hackeroot”

A hacker, in the original sense, is someone who solves problems cleverly. In computing, “root” is the account with full access: the one responsible for everything on the system.

We take that responsibility for your product, from the first plan to the servers it runs on. Roots are also the part of a plant you never see, holding everything else up. That’s the kind of work we like to do.

What you can expect

  • Plain language, always

You’ll never need a dictionary to follow your own project. If we can’t explain something simply, we haven’t thought it through.

  • You own everything

Code, designs, domains and accounts are in your name from day one.

  • Working software every week

You see progress you can click, not status reports.

  • We stay after launch

Hosting, fixes and improvements, handled by the people who built it.

How a project runs

Five steps, the same every time. See them in action in our case studies.

  1. A short call

Tell us what you want to achieve. You get honest advice, even if the answer is that you don’t need us.

  2. A written plan

Scope, timeline and a fixed price, in plain language, before any work starts.

  3. Designs you can click

Try the key screens before they’re built, while changes are still cheap.

  4. Progress every week

A working version to try each week, so you always know where things stand.

  5. Launch and care

We launch it, then keep it fast, secure and up to date.

What does your business need next?

Start with a short call. You’ll get honest advice and a written plan, whether or not we end up working together.
